Assertiveness Storyboard Mini-Facilitator Guide
This storyboard mini-facilitator guide looks at the topic of assertiveness. A good definition of assertiveness is: “Getting what you want from others without infringing upon the rights of others.” This workshop session will explore the whole subject of assertiveness and see whether this is a useful definition
This topic is presented in four stages. These sequential stages consist of:
- Prepare or plan your future assertive communication and gather data as much as you can
- Organize yourself in terms of how you will deal with others and develop your handling skills
- Act or target exactly what you want and go for it.
- Review your success in being more assertive and adjust or improve the next time
