Developing Teams-Advanced: A 20/20 MDS® eLearning Course

In the module Developing Teams 1, we looked at a number of foundational building blocks in helping to establish a strong team. This included what makes a team effective, forming and managing a team (including stages in a typical team's life) and establishing team development objectives. This Developing Team 2 module will build upon the themes we introduced in Developing Teams 1. It will do this in two main ways:

Firstly, in part 1 of the module, we will add some 'flesh' to the bones we covered in terms of what makes a team effective. This will include the establishment of a sound vision and mission as well as goals for the team. It will also include some discussion of how we might go about creating clarity around individual team roles.

Secondly, in part 2 of the module, we will look in detail at the 'management team roles' model (or MTR-I in short) that was only touched upon briefly in the first module. This will provide a very useful action-based process that team leaders can use again and again. This section will also provide further information on the results attained by taking the MTR-I assessment.
