So begins Warren Bennis in his book, Leaders - the strategies for taking charge. Bennis is one of many 'gurus' on the subject of leadership but widely considered to be one of the best. What Bennis captures in the above quotation is that not only is interest in leadership in every quarter of human endeavour, but more importantly, the relative presence of leadership excellence is, perhaps, the main driver of human progress.
This makes the whole subject of leadership an extremely important one for every individual (whether leading or led by others).
It is highly recommended that participants also undertake the Leadership Effectiveness Profile in conjunction with this course if they haven't already done so.
